About the Role:
A newly created opportunity has arisen for a full-time *Regional Learning and Development Specialist, *to join our APAC HR team.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, Talent Management APAC you will be responsible for the overall Learning and Development strategy and providing effective initiatives and stable end-to-end processes in APAC region covering 10 countries and 12 entities in consultation with the Regional Manager, Talent Management - APAC.

Your extensive knowledge of Learning and Development including leadership training, business/functional training, performance management and due diligence, combined with highly developed interpersonal and facilitation skills, effective budget management and the ability to interpret needs and provided solutions will help you to succeed in this role.

A key focus of this role is to enhance a self-learning culture and individual learning appetite by continuous employee communication as well as aligning with Regional Functional Leaders to address their needs. In addition, implement IT system and contemporary apps, business understanding and collaboration with Global HR are also critical.

Furthermore, you will have the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Conducting Training Needs Analysis
  • Manage Training Needs outcomes, including designing and facilitating bespoke training programs, APAC common Induction Program, global mandated training.
  • Budget management and reporting
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with external training providers including monitoring the quality of programs.
  • Implement and Manage Learning and Management System by SAP SuccessFactors in collaboration with Global project team, country HR SMEs and the workstream lead.
  • Manage the LinkedIn Learning program
  • Support Regional HR to conduct development programs for APAC HR members
  • Provide reports and updates to Global L&D taem, Regional Manager Talanet Management, Regional HR Head and other key stekholders

What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a proactive, achievement-orientated and determined individual with:

  • Advanced knowledge of learning and development including leadership training, business/functional training, performance management and due diligence.
  • Highly developed interpersonal & facilitation skills to conduct employee trainings across multiple legal entities in APAC.
  • Not only to be a strategic thinker with the end goal in mind but also not to underestimate the detail of processes design.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Mature, constructive but decisive in approach. Pro-active and outcome oriented.
  • Model leadership behaviours in conjunction with Olympus Core Values (Integrity, Empathy, Long-term View, Agility and Unity).

Ideally, you will have

  • Extensive experience as Regional L&D SME and project management are essential.
  • Formal qualifications in either Business (particularly HR), Business Administration, Management.
  • Formal project/change management qualifications are highly desirable.
