Due to current circumstances, we are now seeking to hire experienced support workers to work with our dynamic, highly experienced teams.

We are urgently looking to hire a Young Female Disability Support Worker. DSW should should have experience in managing kids with behavioral issues such as extreme attachment disorder. Must be able to keep kids busy in activities. They must be experienced in providing personal care & community support to client with mental health issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strengthen client’s capacity to manage and maintain their health and daily life needs
• Prompt client to carry out personal care tasks in a non-demanding way
• Support client in participating and engaging at home in daily tasks and the community
• Carry out domestic duties for clients including meal preparation, household management, bed making, dusting, laundry, etc.
• Assist the client in accessing community activities such as shopping, recreation, and leisure, and enable them to stay connected

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have experience providing personal care & community support to clients with mental health
• Must be tech-savvy
• Ability to learn new skills with the client
• Must have a positive attitude as well as a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Australian citizen or has the Right to Work in Australia
• Certificate III Individual Support or any other relevant course.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate
• Full Driving License and access to a reliable vehicle
• Comprehensively insured car
