Surveyor/Setting Out Engineer

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or Diploma in Civil engineering from and accredited university
- Minimum 10+ years of demonstrable overall experience with minimum of 5 years in all aspects of setting out and surveying in similar construction projects.
- Must be proficient with the latest survey i ng instrumentation and techniques as appropriate to deep underground structures projects.
- Must be capable of working collaboratively with the Contractor's staff to share information, provide constructive challenge and ensure the highest level of tunnel and shaft alignment.
Other Qualifications:
- Proactive acumen and ability to manage multiple work areas on site is essential.
- Requires a working knowledge of all surveying and construction-related processes, as well as current industry practices. Also requires excellent written and oral communication skills, familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with surveying, engineering and construction. Skilled in reading blueprints. Ability to perform all necessary calculations.
