We're looking for a Senior Jewelry Designer who would be instrumental in taking Ask & Embla's design identity to greater heights. You will be working as part of the Ask & Embla Product Development team and will have a great influence over the design direction of the company.

What you will do:

• Developing the art direction for the future of Ask & Embla Jewelry line
• Researching cross-industry trends and conceptualizing customer-focused jewelry concepts based on our assortment plan
• Researching materials, colors, and trends for each delivery
• Sketching and preparing 3D designs and technical specifications for brand appropriate and trending products
• Working with and managing our team of jewelry designers to develop artwork and samples for jewelry designs
• Examining, modifying and preparing final artwork for sampling and production
• Collaborating closely with our Creative Director and Product Development team on R&D for new designs and production capabilities
• Bring a high level of creativity, attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously
• Adhere to project schedules and effectively report progress to meet deadlines
• Other duties as necessary for successful business operation

Job Requirements

• At least 8 years experience in designing jewelry and/or working with jewelry designers as a design manager or art director
• Familiarity with CAD, Rhino, or other 3D Modelling tools
• Technical Drawing capabilities preferred but not essential
• Proactive personality with a positive and solutions oriented mentality
• Excellent organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team-player
• Demonstrated ability in communicating creative solutions with confidence, ease, and clarity to internal teams and stakeholder
