Receptionist/administration Assistant

We are looking for a Full-Time Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to begin immediately

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service

  • Greet clients, visitors and guests as they enter the office
  • Deal with queries from the public and customers
  • Provide initial level of customer support and assistance
  • Answer daily telephone calls and transfer calls

Office Administration

  • Set up and maintain hard copy and computerized information filing systems
  • Assist in the organisation of meetings and company events
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Process bill payments and government remittances
  • Deposit and banking reconciliation
  • Accounts receivable functions
  • Payroll and select HR functions
  • Operational Support_
  • Maintain a pleasing and tidy office environment
  • Assist in maintaining an adequate inventory of office supplies

  • Assist professional team as required
  • Proofreading and assembly of client deliverables
  • Provide additional basic administrative duties as required
  • Other projects or related-work as assigned

CORE OCCUPATIONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent customer service skills, friendliness and respect for confidentiality
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to take initiative and do research
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, familiarity with Quickbooks or other accounting software
  • Detail oriented, including sufficient knowledge of spelling and grammar to accurately proofread documents
  • Ability to work effectively in a very fast paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge/experience in the accounting or finance sector is considered an asset

Salary: $38,000.00-$43,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
