Red Cedar Alberta is composed of a growing team of highly trained and compassionate service providers.

To meet the needs associated with our growth, we are seeking experienced psychometrists to provide Level B and Level C assessments such as psychoeducational assessments under the supervision of a registered psychologist.

Requirements:
Registration or certification with a recognized college or professional association.

Skills:

  • Preferred areas competencies:

  • Individuals (Adults, youth, and children)

  • Experience administering psychometric measures such as:

  • WISC-V and WAIS-IV

  • WIAT-III or WJ-3
  • BASC-3, Browns EF Scales
  • Skills in test interpretation and report writing
  • Additional preferred areas of competencies:

  • Psychotherapy experience an asset


Duties

Psychometrist responsibilities:

  • Work with the Supervising Psychologist and Assessment team regarding assessment progress and any related issues.
  • Perform all related tasks pertaining to providing assessments.
  • Act as the point person for communicating with clients, observers, teachers, and all parties involved to help facilitate the assessments.
  • Maintain client files.
  • Following Office procedures including established scheduling processes.
  • Work with the Supervising Psychologist and Assessment team regarding assessment progress and any related issues.
  • Ensure that all security procedures are followed.

The minimum education level accepted will be a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university, however, those with a graduate degree in Psychology or a related program or graduate level assessment course will be prioritized. The applicant must have, and be prepared to show, sufficient knowledge, education, clinical judgement and supervised experience in assessment activities.

Job Types: Casual, Part-time
Part-time hours: 5-30 per week

Salary: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
