Job description:
Role and responsibilities

  • Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming equipment from vendors / Customers and outgoing products for shipping.
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product to the specifications.
  • Perform stage Quality inspection as required by the job which includes but not limited to:

  • Dimensional inspection
  • NDT (MPI, LP, UT)
  • Hardness checks
  • Visual Checks
  • Light Band.
  • Thread inspection.
  • Coating inspection.
  • Performs SAP transactions after completion of QC operations.
  • Reviewing of Customers’ quality requirements, seek clarifications and exceptions when required to ensure ability to effectively execution after project is awarded.
  • Manages inspections in Vendor sites and troubleshoot issues faced by the vendor during inspections

Reporting: Quality Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi

You are meant for this job if:

  • Minimum 6-8 years working experience in Quality Control. (Oil and Gas industry preferred)
  • Min 2 years of experience on wellhead inspection.
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
  • ASNT Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Welding inspection certification.
