Minimum Requirements: - Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) - NQF Level 4 or N3 in Water and Waste Water Treatment - National Diploma or Degree in Water Care will be an advantage - 3 years’ water purification plant experience - Computer literacy - Class IV Process Controller Classification - A valid Code B driver’s license with the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 driver test
Primary Duties: The critical functions will include: - Starting and stopping of pumps, following the required operations procedure. - Opening and closing of valves. - Perform inspection for any leaks or other abnormalities. - Monitoring of pump performance and taking daily readings - Reporting defects on the plant on time to ensure maximum plant availability - Ensure the working environment is safe and comply with occupational health and safety regulations. - Ensure the ISO 9001 requirement are met and complied with at all times.
