Job description
17-Study Club falls under the 17 Education Association. It receives support from hardworking volunteers-many of whom are Canadian high school students. 17-Study Club contains North America's critical thinking and discussion-based learning style, expressed through interactive classes and community activities for children. Their focus is to help young children become more competent and involved community members. This is achieved through communication by emphasizing leadership, problem solving, teamwork and creativity.
Overview
We are looking for an energetic, friendly and experienced soccer coach for kids from age 5 - 10 to join after school program team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lessons
- Lead and supervise all training sessions
- Training volunteers
- Track student progress and complete all progress reports in a timely fashion
- Carry out job postings on the various platforms
Qualifications
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Experience in basketball teaching or receive relevant awards on basketball sport
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relations skills.
- Fluency in English
Job Types: Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
