Faithful to Nature is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to be responsible for processing all invoices received from suppliers and capturing it in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Capturing of Supplier Invoices and Credit Notes on Acumatica.
  • Checking Costs and Quantities Invoices against POs.
  • Checking Description of SKU on Invoice against POs.
  • Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices - assigning related. tasks to buyers for all Delivery discrepancies and Cost discrepancies and follow up with buyers/planners everyday.
  • Making sure payment dates are correct ( From date of delivery - Stamp ).
  • Following up on daily on outstanding Credit Notes for all PO discrepancies and Supplier returns
  • Contacting and following up with Suppliers on;
  • Discrepancies on PO/Invoices eg shortages
  • Damages
  • Incorrect stock supplied
  • Short dated stock
  • Expired stock
  • Cost prices and etc.
  • Any other adhoc duties required from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven working experience as Accounts Payable Clerk.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
