We are recruiting for a Senior Food Production Manager.
- Will be responsible for ensuring that the facility produce quality products that are within specification and budget
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Matric Tertiary qualification (food technology, operations or management)
- 5-10 years’ experience in a manufacturing/food production environment.
- Previous experience working on an ERP system
- Target driven, knowledge of production processes and best practices, food safety and quality systems
- Knowledge of financial processes and analysis and cost management skills
- Resilient, good interpersonal skills, self-motivated
- Innovative, proactive with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Duties:
- Responsible to lead the manufacturing operations within budget and budgeted targets to meet customer requirements and standards
- Ensure the production facility and its equipment is in proper working order and liaise with engineering team
- Ensure safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements/specifications are met
- Effective management and development of employees and team performance Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by identifying inefficiencies and recommending changes in training, work practices, processes etc.
- Compile monthly management reports.
