Upholding the vision & mission of the school and to support the School Principal to take the school to the next level.

  • To ensure that all students are supervised in a safe learning environment in compliance to the MOE framework.
  • Drive enrichment and having exposure in implementation of National curriculum requirements and related assessment and certification requirements in all phases.
  • Foster a learning environment leading to continuous improvement in academic excellence and holistic education.
  • Contribute to the strategic leadership of the school as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • To effectively utilize and maintain facilities in order to provide an appropriate learning environment and reasonable health and safety considerations for students and staff.
  • Contributing to the school improvement plans, self-evaluation of the teaching and learning within the school.
  • Supervise the instructional programs of the school, evaluating lesson plans and observing classes on a regular basis.
  • Able to demonstrate a comprehensive and confident knowledge of best practice pedagogy in the school.
  • Display the highest ethical and professional behavioral standards when working with students, parents and all stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative, engaging, and challenging learning designs that actively boost the competency and capabilities of leadership team.
  • Encourage alignment of Teaching, Learning and Assessment practices with instructional and delivery method to meet performance improvement standards.
  • Imbibe and enhance UAE culture in the school in line with the guidelines and regulations of the National Agenda Parameter.
  • Oversee the e-learning strategies, to ensure high levels of team member engagement and commitment to new initiatives.
  • Liaise with the Curriculum and Assessment team to provide up to date information on curriculum development & triangulation of data; progress and attainment in all performance indicators.
  • Prepare all supporting information for the MOE inspections & audits as advised by the Principal and liaise with the school governing body.
  • Leadership and performance management of staff.
  • Protect confidentiality of records and information gained as part of exercising professional duties and use discretion in sharing such information within legal confines
  • Experienced in developing teacher’s skills and competencies through sustained school improvement plans and continuous professional development trainings.
  • Proven track record in development,design and execution of learning and development training programs and delivery of live and online workshops.
  • A thought leader in the learning leadership, keep abreast of industry trends to ensure best inclass solutions.
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to inclusion.

Vice Principal Requirements:

  • Proven experience as in Leadership role
  • A thorough understanding of best practices in teaching & learning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, flexible disposition.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
