Debtors Manager

National group seeks an experienced DEBTORS manager to for their MOBENI office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluating of all Credit Application procedures
Maintenance/Review of Debtors Masterfile - including Rep codes, Rebate and Settlement Discount structures
Review of Debtors recons and resolve queries timeously
Manage all month end processes
Maintenance of Debtors Age analysis and reporting to Exco weekly
Maintenance/Approval of Credit limits on the Credit Guarantee Insurance Corporation (CGIC) portal
Meeting and liaising with CGIC brokers
Maintenance of Chain Store Portals and billings
Maintaining and updating Chain Store agreements annually
Receipting and allocations of Account Payments
Management of credit and collection of outstanding debts
Authorizing all Credit Notes
Manage and allocate duties to the Debtors Assistant

REQUIREMENTS

1. Grade 12

2. Credit qualification or alternatively a financial degree

3. 5-10 years’ experience as a Debtors Manager with hands on credit experience

4. Excellent communication and leadership skills

5. Management reporting and business analytical skills

6. Knowledge of the requirements in respect of the National Credit Act, POPI, CGIC and other applicable regulations

7. Strong MS Office skills

8. Excellent reconciling skills
   Have an excellent understand risk, business process and controls

9. Able to work alternate Saturday mornings.

RUMUNERATION

R300K to R350K PA (TCC)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: R300,000.00 - R350,000.00 per year

Education:

• High School (matric) (required)

Experience:

• Credit Management: 5 years (required)
• Credit Managers Role: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

• Do you have Credit Management 1,2 & 3 or a degree? (required)
