Purpose of the job:
Manage and confirm correctness of loads/ products picked, received and accurate loading.
Responsibilities:
- Checking of picked loads and verifying same to be correct
- Checking received loads and ensuring that the necessary documentation is completed in full and correctly.
- Ensuring all product entering the warehouse is correctly palletised, damage free and traceability sticker completed in full and attached.
- Ensure that the daily targeted picking slips are picked, checked in accordance with the priority listing or routing
- Ensure that the team under his or her control adhere to prescribed policies and regulations.
- Ensure that warehouse stock damaged to agreed standard and disposed of and accounted for as per procedures
Ensure that team under his/her control complete the set tasks and meet the said targets.:
Ensure that product is picked, checked and staged in correct lanes and labelled according to truck number and all pallets are ready for loading.
- Ensure that picking slips are signed by all relevant parties ( picker, checker and Goldfields checker) and corrections are signed for by the checker and Goldfields checker
- Ensure that any product cuts are signed for by the Supervisors and picking slips are handed to the invoicing clerk
- Ensure proper timekeeping of all team members under his/her control
- Partake in stock counts and ensure accurate and effective counts
- Control of bad goods within the warehouse
- Report any irregularities to superiors
- Report mispicks
- Report damages

- Matric/ Grade 12
Experience Requirements:
Experience:
- 2-3 years experience in warehouse
- Experience in FMCG Environments
