Parsons have immediate openings for *Junior Landscape Architect *professionals who are creative, open-minded, and eager to work in a collaborative fast paced environment. Collaboration within the studio offers opportunities for each team member to contribute to every stage of a project from concept design through construction administration.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Demonstrated experience in project design, development, and construction.
- Assist with the preparation, and completion of design and construction documents
- Assist with development of project specifications
- Participation in project meetings
- Assisting with preparation of client presentations
- Preparation of plans, design studies and drawings
- Assisting with preparation of site analysis and conduct technical research
- Identifying and escalating project and client issues in a timely manner
- Study and become familiar with Abu Dhabi design standards and practices
Education /Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in BLA, BsLA or MLA in Landscape Architecture.
- At least 4-6 years of related experience.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Ability to meet fast-paced project timelines and take on diverse projects
- Experience working with project teams to produce project documents
- An attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and MS Office
- Proficiency in hand drawing conventions, file management, time reporting
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Familiarity Revit Architecture, Lumion and/or Rhinoceros is a plus.
