First General Grey Bruce/Durrer Group Inc is seeking an energetic Claims Coordinator/ Administrative Assistant. This role is an integral position in running day to day operations who must provide superior customer service both over the phone and in person.

Claims Coordinator will oversee the activities related to handling all the many facets of insurance claims accepted for water, mould, fire mitigation and reconstruction. The Claims Coordinator will be a liaison officer between the company’s project managers, insurance providers, policyholders and third-party administrators. Will be responsible for keeping project information up to date with all parties. A key role is helping customers who have suffered a property loss to navigate the process of restoring their property to a pre-loss condition.

Requirements:

  • Answering phone to accept assignments, route calls and be the forefront of verbal communication
  • Manage data entry for each claim from “First Notice of Loss” through to “Completion of Job” in the CRM system
  • Daily review compliance tasks and make sure all job tasks are completed on time
  • Monitor and update jobs in required operating system making sure the job flows efficiently through the claims process requirements and cycle times
  • Manage customer service issues and document actions to take and resolution
  • Communication with customers in a timely manner.
  • Enter daily notes in jobs, contact relevant participants and communicate urgent matters to project manager

The successful individual must be able to take direction for various task throughout the day and follow through to completion independently.

Other Job Duties include answering phones, filing, scanning, uploading documents to various database programs, data entry and general clerical work. The individual must have fluent computer skills and be able to use Microsoft (outlook, excel, word).etcFamiliarity with Insurance Claims/Process and software would be valuable (Xactimate/Xactanalysis/Encircle)

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
