Hotshots Dispatcher (Experienced)
What are we looking for?
We are looking for senior profiles with experience in logistics. ️ This is not a sales role, however, must speak great English, and have a strong personality to be able to work under pressure. Must have a personal computer with a solid internet connection.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Express is a fast-growing logistics services company and one of America's finest transportation and logistics providers. The company was started in 2017 and specialized in being a hotshot operator, managing tractor-trailers fleets, and providing logistics services to third-party owner-operators.
ROLE
We are currently looking to bring on-board a experienced dispatcher for our hotshot division. In this role, you will be negotiating and booking loads with brokers, while coordinating with truck drivers over the phone.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform market analysis to determine the best routes
- Negotiate and book the best rate possible.
- Scheduling appointments
- Daily scheduling of truck fleet. Coordinate truck drivers
- Handling Driver issues
- Generate documents and reports
ATTRIBUTES
- Proven experience as a hotshot dispatcher. Must be familiar with the major load boards
- Strong personality
- Independent problem solver
- Super tech-savvy
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Fast typing with experience in data entry
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Sound judgment and critical thinking
