Centurion, Pretoria: NETWORK CABLING TECHNICIAN
Minimum Requirements:
- Presentable male
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English a must (speak, read and write)
- Matric / Grade 12
- Minimum 2 years Network cabling experience a must
- Experience with Cat5-Cat6 cables a must
- Experienced in basic setup and wireless installations, overlays and roaming on wireless (spacing wireless and output power on different frequencies) a must
- Experience with UniFi Controller and Cambium cnMaestro
- Experienced in VOIP hardware installations, POE switches and injectors a must
- Experienced in infrastructure installation of Setup Documents, including qualification reports
- Basic switching-, CCTV installation and/or fluke testers experience advantageous
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle a must
- Willing and able to travel to corporate clients to work on site
- No Criminal Record and clean credit check
- Stable employment record and contactable reference
- To start as soon as possible
Duties:
- Responsible for cabling, installation, configuration, and support of network equipment (i.e access points) across the LAN, WLAN, WAN, and SD-WAN, both wired and wireless.
- Cross-functional troubleshooting support for internal and external clients and network fault investigations.
- Review client requirements and define the optimal networking solutions in accordance with organizational policies.
- Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks.
Salary: R 12 000.00 R 15 000.00 gross (Junior Level) / R 15 000.00 - R 20 000.00 gross (Intermediate level) / R 20 000.00 R 50 000.00 gross (Senior Level)
