JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Preferably an international Beauty Therapy Certificate/ Somatology Diploma from ITEC or CIDESCO
  • Computer literate MS Office, Chidesk and Opera
  • Experience in leading a team and managing a salon
  • Strong administrative skills
  • 2-3 years management experience
  • Must be able to market and sell the Spa
  • Must be sales and target driven
  • Great previous retail track record
  • Have the ability to source new business
  • Willingness to perform treatments when required
  • Required to work most weekends and public holidays

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Managerial Responsibility Areas

  • Constantly develop systems and procedures to increase revenue and efficiency
  • Review the bookings for the day and week to ensure accuracy and maximum productivity
  • Promote and grow the retail and treatment sales through measurement tools and monitoring
  • Continually developing staff through training, coaching and mentoring on a daily basis
  • Facilitate a daily staff briefing focusing on Positives and Negative
  • Dealing with Guest request and Guest complaints
  • Ensure that you are familiar with the stock and cleanliness standards and that the Spa meets those requirements
  • Complete all stock takes and all relevant administration
  • Assist with cost control in all areas and minimise wastage
  • Oversee the gm and pool facilities
  • Report all maintenance issues

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Place stock orders monthly in order to maintain your par levels
  • Source suitable retail suppliers
  • Submit daily revenue report per therapist
  • Complete monthly payroll reports including hours, commissions for retail and treatments and tips
  • Maintain data base of all clients and market to that data base
  • Monitoring staff productivity
  • Enforce the Disciplinary Procedures
  • Training Registers are completed for all training
  • Report staff that is not following policies and procedures
