Job Advert Summary:
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 3 Years’ experience in horticultural/environmental field is essential
- Ability to operate specialised horticultural machinery such as chainsaws, Ride-on mower etc.
- Basic safety knowledge and ability to complete tasks in time without constant supervision.
- Code 08 / EB driver’s licence.
Primary Duties:
- Horticultural maintenance of Sites, including operation of specialized equipment and machinery
- Grass maintenance, Disease identification, weed identification and eradication.
- Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
- Maintenance of indoor plants.
- Applications of fertilizers, compost, mulches and pesticides.
- Loading and offloading of goods, machines, plants and debris etc.
- Administration duties such as Asset management, completion of relevant forms etc.
- Support with decorations and construction when required.
Knowledge:
- Specialised Horticultural and landscape knowledge
- Basic safety knowledge
- Basic plant knowledge and Water wise principles.
- Knowledge of specialised Horticultural machinery and tools.
