Operation
- Correct execution of Air imports, Coordinating with the Ground Handling agent & Carriers for Air imports cargo and Airport clearance process.
- Execution of customs clearance in accordance with UAE customs rules and regulations including customs inspection.
- Coordinating with customer and arrange delivery to final legs
- Ensure cargo proper packing & labeling according with carrier, commodity & destination requirement
- On time creation of Job Costing Sheet once full delivery is done to finance for invoicing
- Alert and update the shipment details on Logi-sys system
- Thorough knowledge of dubai municipality food import regulations
- Thorough knowledge of Dubai Customs regulations
- Maintain healthy relation with Carriers, local cargo operator, Dnata, EK and partners.
Customer Service
- Ensure on time update of cargo status to customer
- Understand customer’s requirement and instruction ( i.e DTC, DTD, description of goods etc
- Inform customer with the Air imports clearance requirements prior to cargo arrival.
- On time invoicing of customer,48 hours after cargo delivery.
Qualifications / Experience
- +3 years’ experience in Air import operations with knowledge in E-mirsal ,Calogi system, Dubai customs procedure, dubai municipality food import regulations, ground handling agent & carrier communication.
- College/University graduate
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
