We're are looking for an experienced Scaffolders who's responsible are assembling and dismantling usually temporary scaffolding structures and allow workers to access specific portions of a building to perform needed work in a variety of industries such as construction, entertainment, shipbuilding, mining, utilities, drilling, and more.
Scaffolder Duties and Responsibilities
- Fixing the scaffolding to the building or structure.
- Laying planks (battens) across the scaffolding for workers to walk on
- Putting up the scaffolding poles (standards) and attaching the horizontal tubes (ledgers) to them with couples
- Unloading scaffolding equipment at the site
- Fixing guard rails and safety netting
- Taking down the scaffolding after a job is finished.
- Setting base plates on the ground at regular intervals (these stop the upright poles slipping)
Scaffolder Requirements / Skills / Qualifications
- Scaffolding experience
- Must have a “safety first” attitude and strong mechanical skills.
- Must not be afraid of heights
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Physical fitness
- Good sense of balance.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Communication skills
- Organization skills
- Willingness to travel.
Salary: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
Experience:
- 3years: 1 year (preferred)
