Cyber Security Intern is part of the Corporate Cyber Security team, reporting to the Cyber Security Governance manager, as responsible for cyber security governance, risk, and compliance.

Cyber Security Intern will need to build out a broad understanding of both functional and technical cyber security concepts to best support meeting internal and external cyber security requirements.
Job Description
Collaborate in developing, reviewing, and updating the corporate Cyber Security Framework documentation for internal policies, procedures, standards, and controls.

  • Participate in automating and improving existing ISO 27001 certified Information Security Management System (ISMS) processes (e.g., risk management, control management) and capabilities.
  • Assist in supporting ongoing cyber security assessments, audits, records gathering, or similar requirements.
  • Research and evaluate international cyber security frameworks, regulations, or laws, providing recommendations.
  • Monitor international cyber security topics (threats, vulnerabilities, learned lessons, etc.) relevant to Corporate Cyber Security division.
  • Contribute to improve the Cyber Security Governance function through creating metrics/dashboards, participating in risk management processes, and creating awareness materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills and Competencies
    Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent) in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM); or
  • Be enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) in STEM
