1. PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To drive Company vehicles in a safe and legal manner whilst keeping service levels high and ensuring daily work is completed.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- NOTE:_ the below listed responsibilities are not exhaustive and other duties may be assigned
3. COMPETENCY PROFILE
- Ensures that inspections take place prior to operations commencing on a daily basis.
- Completes the checklists on a daily basis.
- Advises Site Manager/Supervisor of/if any discrepancies found during inspections.
- Ensures correct PPE is worn.
- Does risk assessments once on job site to identify any possible hazards prior to commencing operations and ensure same is addressed with management.
- Does preventative maintenance on TLB and other equipment.
- Ensures that TLB operations are carried out in a safe manner.
- Ensures that all certificates and licenses are valid.
- Understanding how the TLB operates is extremely important. This includes opening and closing the bucket, raising and lowering the boom, and digging, lifting and dumping dirt.
- Moves material in a safe manner at all times.
- Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Fulfil any other duties that can reasonably be expected and/or assigned.

3.2. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ Years experience in operating a TLB
- Valid TLB training entity certificate
- Grade 10 educational qualification
- Valid Code driver's license
- Valid PDP
- Contactable references required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From R8,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kriel, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- TLB Operator: 3 years (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Operating Licence (required)
