JOB DUTIES:
- All elements of ceramic production including: clay prep / recycling, slab work, glazing, sgraffito, kiln loading & unloading *special consideration for ceramic artists who have strong throwing skills, oil or acrylic painters (with portfolio), and those with expertise in calligraphy.
- Office and studio admin: data entry, order tracking, inventory, packaging, shipping and receiving
- Basic studio cleaning and maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Training in ceramic production (post-secondary is an asset)
- Training in painting (oils and/or acrylic)
- Strength and physical endurance with repetitive tasks
- Ability to multi-task and stay well-organized
- Attention to detail and excellent memory
- Beautiful cursive writing and/or calligraphy
- Typing / data entry experience (min 50WPM)
- Excel spreadsheets
- Contributing to social media accounts
- Live in the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Our open concept studio allows us to maintain healthy social distance at all times. Each member of our team has their own work station and tools. We maintain regular cleaning procedures and limited interactions with non-employees in the studio.

- Customer Service: 5 years (required)
