Key Performance Area:
- Review the scope of work and production plan and direct and execute the placement of Lifting Machines and Rigging equipment
- Estimating the size, shape and weight of objects to be moved ,including recognising of centre of gravity
- Participate in the compilation of Rigging Studies and Risk Assessments
- Conduct pre - use inspections on all lifting Machines and Rigging Equipment Certificate
- Conduct continuous surveillance of the environment and load of Rigger equipment
- Attach Loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- Rigging Trade Test ( Red Seal)
- 3 years working experience
