Intersen Phase Afrikaans Educator

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Intersen Phase Afrikaans educator to join our team.

DUTIES:

• Responsible for all duties required by an PL1 educator according to PAM.
• Implement correct conduct and instruction to learners through teaching
  excellency.
• Commitment and dedication to extramural activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• An appropriate and recognised four year teaching degree.
• A valid SACE certificate.
• A minimum of 3 years teaching Afrikaans to primary school learners.
• Excellent knowledge of CAPS Curriculum requirements for Grade 1-7.
• Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English and Afrikaans.
• Familiar with modern teaching practices, i.e. personalised learning,
  critical thinking, problem solving during lessons, "flipped" classroom
  techniques, differentiated learning, computer technology during lessons
  and effective use of group work teaching strategies.
• Profocoency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Google
  Workspace Tools.
• Dedicated to professional development.
  Management Team.

Salary: R18,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
