**Position Summary
The Legal Counsel Global Procurement is based in the Panama hub of Nestrade S.A. is a key position within the Legal Procurement Team, supporting the group of services and indirect material categories with holistic, pragmatic and business oriented legal advice, in particular on transactional matters vis-à-vis Intellectual Properties, Data Protection and Data Security rules and regulations.
As a *Legal Counsel for Global Procurement : S&IM *, you will report to the General Counsel Nestrade S.A. and will be integral part of the Legal Procurement Team fully dedicated to the Procurement company handling the global procurement for Nestlé group.

**A Day in the Life of a Legal Counsel for Global Procurement : S&IM
- Support the General Counsel Corporate Operations & Procurement in the management of the legal affairs of Procurement worldwide, with focus on services and indirect materials categories (e.g. information technology, external workforce, market research, marketing content, marketing activation and media)
- Provide legal advice to the services and indirect materials categories within Procurement, fostering co-pilot working relationship with relevant clients and working with the other lawyers in the team including Lead lawyers
- Support the Legal Procurement team in developing best in class form agreements, tools and processes (including risk assessment) for above market transactions within Procurement
- Support on the establishment and implementation of effective and efficient workflow processes to ensure functional alignment with Legal at Zones and Markets levels, as well as alignment with Legal team supporting IT or other expert legal departments
- Protect the best interests of Nestlé, always aligned with the fundamental Corporate and Procurement policies and any other applicable internal policy/guideline/processes
**What will make you successful
- Professionally qualified lawyer (at least 5 years PQE)
- Double degree or experience in Civil & Common Law a plus
- Experience of working in-house in varied legal environments (Experience with cloud services and on-premises software is a plus)
- Previous experience within procurement (negotiation, contracts)
- Understanding of intellectual property and in a transactional setting
- Previous exposure to international working environments
- The ability to handle to high pressure / high visibility projects under scrutiny of senior management
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
