Novo Nordisk CLAT is based in Panama City and is responsible for the operations in Central America, the Caribbean and selected South American markets in more than 35 countries. The position The Sustainability lead will hold key responsibilities for implementing, managing and driving affiliate-wide sustainability tactics.
Responsible for aligning the sustainability strategy with local business priorities. Leads the global implementation of given projects from the global portfolio such as: Defeat Diabetes, Program Affordability, Changing Diabetes in Children, Circular 4 Zero and Take Action. Responsibilities Implement strategies, activities, trainings, to reduce the impact of our lifestyle on the environment Map and guide tactics to assess and minimize the environmental impact of our operation in CLAT (focus countries) Coordinate internal/external stakeholders on deploying and communicating accordingly Monitor the execution of the Affordability’s plan that benefit vulnerable population in Peru, Panama, Ecuador and Venezuela and any other country that will be included later Deploy tactical plan according to timeline covering the 3 fronts established: Healthcare, Environment and social Qualifications Preferably a Master’s Degree (preferably within a management/social sciences/economics/journalism & media discipline). Bachelor’s degree mandatory.
5+ years of experience in sustainability areas. Knowledge gained by sustainability position with managerial level experience and ability to work within a cross functional team. Experience in delivering business objectives in alignment with multiple internal and external stakeholders, also effectively and persuasively articulating complex issues to key decision makers; experience in analysing complex issues, utilising strategic thinking and implementing tactical plans.
