Overview
This role is responsible for creating desirable, usable and compelling experiences, leveraging our design system. You will be involved in developing high value insights and designs and conducting research and customer testing to inform roadmap development and prioritisation.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
- Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, accessibility, findability)
- Translate concepts into user journeys, use cases, wireframes and prototypes
- Identify opportunities to optimize existing user interface designs
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes to technical and delivery stakeholders
- Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
- Develop wireframes and prototypes
- Support or lead customer testing and research throughout the design funnel (including ethnographic research, resonance testing and usability testing) for specific initiatives
- Co-ordinate customer testing
- Keep updated on products and trends
- Data analysis
People Leadership
- Work collaboratively with business and IT stakeholders and clients
Governance & Risk
- Identify and consider risk and security impacts of designs
- Ensure appropriate governance processes are established and/or followed for design management
Experience & Personal Attributes
- 1-2 years of professional design experience, including UX/UI
- Experience developing user interface designs, and UI prototypes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Able to work collaboratively with a wide cross-section of stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Product Management, and UX Research
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines
