Barber Collins Security is looking to hire 2 Mobile Patrol guards for it's industrial security patrol division.

Job description

  • Combination of Night and Afternoon shifts
  • 75-80 hours per 2 weeks
  • Includes most weekends:

  • Provide outstanding and personalized customer service as a front-line representative of our client’s organizations
  • Ensure you strive to meet company standards and ministry compliance with the Private Security Guard Act. in terms of uniform, training and site procedures
  • Respond to major incidents on client properties such as fire alarms, Burglar alarms and break ins.

  • Safely operate and maintain company issued vehicle, require a Class G driver’s license with 3 years Canadian driving experience.:

  • Enforce of property rules to maintain the security and safety of our clients and their assets

  • Complete mobile patrol security walking patrols and inspections of facilities as required
  • Perform parking tagging procedure where assigned.
  • Complete mobile patrol and alarm response reports.
  • Duties as otherwise assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Class G Driver’s license, 3 years driving experience in Ontario:

  • Clean Drivers Abstract
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Must have double vaccination

KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

  • Ability to organize work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Effective Organizational Skills and Attention to detail.
  • Strong time management experience required with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Waterloo, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
