Where in the world of OVO will I be working?

The *Social Media & Sponsorships Executive *will be a savvy brand marketeer with a passion for brand storytelling and activations that can help use our social media and sponsorship activity to catapult OVO Energy to brand fame status.

As part of the PR, Social and Sponsorships team, you'll work closely with three team members who specialise in Social Media, Sponsorship, Venue Management and Activation (all of whom report into the Head of PR, Social & Partnerships) to help develop, shape and implement coordinated brand campaigns that elevate our sponsorship and partnership activity to new heights, helping make OVO the most talked about energy brand in the UK.

As well as working on our sponsorship and partnership activity, you'll play a key role in day to day management of our social media strategy and activation across our key customer channels. You'll work alongside our social media agency to lead and deliver content creation, campaign planning, paid media, reporting and more. We have high big expectations for our social media plans in 2023 and you'll be a pivotal team member to help us deliver this.

As well as working to leverage and improve existing social content & sponsorship - including our venue sponsorship of the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, the OVO Arena Wembley in London plus OVO Live (our rewards programme) OVO Bikes in Scotland and Wales - you'll bring your passion, vision and skill to help establish and implement new social content and sponsorship activations that can bring OVO and its mission for zero carbon living to new consumer audiences, driving brand fame, awareness and consideration over our competitors.

Working alongside the internal creative studio, legal, sustainability, corporate communications, Zero Carbon Living and wider Brand Marketing teams, you'll help craft plans and develop ideas and content that move our social and sponsorship activity beyond just paid marketing, and - alongside your PR, Social and Sponsorships team members - find exciting ways to bring our partnerships to life in ways which really get people talking.

You will support the team in the delivery of innovative, world-class campaign activations that drive earned brand fame in the mass market for OVO Energy, whilst also ensuring that our sponsorship assets are activated accurately and a day to day basis, from helping to launch pre-sale access to our live events and shows at our arenas, to running promotional campaign for OVO Bikes.

This is an incredible opportunity for a creative individual who has strong organisation and implementation skills, is great at 'attention to detail', and loves getting stuff done.

You will be super savvy when it comes to brand guardianship, whether through owned and earned channels, and have a natural understanding of how to bring our brand values, messaging and goals to life within every execution.

You will support the external agencies and partner relations, working closely with them to develop and project manage campaigns, ensure they're consistently delivering on their KPIs and always finding new and innovative ways to win with consumers.

You will bring energy and positivity to the team and you will be passionate about the zero carbon living journey that OVO is on with its members.
