Their production facility is conveniently located within 15 mins of Brisbane CBD making for an easy commute to and from work.
The Role:
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations ensuring that production targets are met. You will be directly responsible for development within your team and building capability.
As a hands-on leader you will be passionate about spending time on the production floor and looking for continuous improvement opportunities.

Your performance will be measured primarily through your ability to control the production costs of the business whilst ensuring your team are always operating in a safety-first environment.
Your role will include but not be limited to the following:
- Maintaining cost control and client job turnover
- Ensuring daily production output is met
- Building your teams capability to work autonomously
- Managing maintenance tasks as they arise
- Leading daily toolbox meetings

You:
This role will be best suited to someone with a background in food production leadership roles and an ability to hit the ground running. Additionally, you will have:
- Prior experience in Food Manufacturing with experience leading production teams
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- A safety-first approach demonstrated and acted on consistently
- Thorough understanding of Quality Controls in Food Manufacturing
- Experience with paperless warehousing & production systems
