Account Manager

We are looking for an account manager that will be responsible for the development and expansion of our customer portfolio by preparing proposals, responding clients’ requests, growing existing clients’ relationships, and assuring that clients’ expectations are fulfilled. The account manager will be the primary point of contact with the clients.

  • Previous experience in the commercial area (services) and or/account management
  • Confident relationship builders
  • Solid negotiation skills

What you should have/be:

  • Degree, preferably in Management, Marketing, Economics, Public Relations or Languages
  • Previous experience in client-facing account management / client service representative role (at least 3 years)
  • Experience in budget management and negotiation
  • Ability to develop and implement business processes, detailed project plans and status reporting methods
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken (compulsory), a good command of written and spoken Portuguese. Good command of a third language will be considered an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High energy and self-motivation
  • Ability to be assertive and persuasive
  • Knowledge of the translation services industry is a plus
  • Preferably resident in Lisbon or surrounding areas
  • Availability to travel in Portugal and abroad
