CABINET MAKER
Due to growth within our company, *we are seeking cabinet makers to join our production team in St. Clements *(just outside of Waterloo). Our cabinetmakers are integral members of the Artco family and facilitate a key step in the journey of bringing our clients’ dreams to life. Artco’s cabinet makers bring attention to detail and quality craftsmanship to every Artco product.
This is a full-time position with 44 hours a week. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided after the 3-month probationary period.

Artco has nearly 40 years’ experience in manufacturing case goods, upholstered furniture, and millwork for the hospitality industry across North America. Artco specializes in high-end custom furniture for luxury hotels and is part of the Chervin group of companies which also provides high-end custom residential cabinetry, residential furniture, and home décor.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Operate modern woodworking machinery to produce accurate parts for final assembly
- Complete final sanding and assembly of high-end custom furniture for luxury hotels
- Install hardware (handles, knobs, hinges, etc.) to finished furniture, as per specs provided from engineering
- Package furniture for shipping to ensure safe transportation during delivery
- Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Ability to read and discern blueprints
- Ability to lift 50-75lbs
- A general understanding of basic woodworking tools
- A keen attention to detail
- A self-motivated desire to produce valuable work

- 2+ years general wood working experience
- BONUS: Previous experience with custom cabinet building
