Your new role
As The IT Scrum Master (SM) you will play an important role by performing a number of activities related to the company’s Project Management Office (PMO) functions. This position will primarily be responsible as the Scrum Master on various IT Agile initiatives in accordance with our Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes (with limited supervision). This role will be responsible for coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver IT initiatives according to plan.
- You will guide the project teams in implementing agile methodology rules to deliver rapid and reliable business products
- Set up and manage sprint planning and other scrum meetings (i.e. backlog refinement, daily scrum, demos, etc.)
- Effectively manage and communicate any outstanding bugs, issues, and velocity to team and leadership.
- Report their actual level of effort in the agreed upon time tracking system, Daptiv.
- Monitor and report on the progress of the PBIs during each sprint (e.g. Burn down chart).
- Partner with project managers and development team to develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations.
- And perform other relevant duties as assigned
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Scrum Master experience with implementation in small to medium environments required
- Agile scrum master certifications
- Proficient knowledge of ADO/TFS
