This is an opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer with a background in construction to shift into a strategically focussed role heavily involved in some of the more commercial aspects of construction.
Working on a large scale project with many years of construction ahead, this role is a safe and secure bet for the future. Employed by a large and reputable construction company, with multiple projects across New Zealand, you’ll have access to leading systems and a highly professional team.
The role:
- Developing cost methodologies and preliminary programmes
- Progress and submit design budget submissions
- Assist Estimators in producing schedules of qualities
- Working alongside construction site teams to ensure the cost to complete is on schedule
- Provide feedback to design and construction teams on project feasibility
You will have:
- Relevant Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar qualifications
- Practical site experience in civil construction with a minimum of 5 years in the industry
- Some understanding of CCS Candy ojr similar program and demonstrated commercial ability
- Strong communication skills and ability to build and maintain effective relationships
