Two Stockpersons/General Farm Hands are required on a 3,500Ha mixed property located near Goomalling, WA (150km north-east of Perth). The roles have a very strong focus working with cattle and feedlot work, forming approximately 90% of the roles with 10% assisting with cropping. Good mechanical knowledge/ maintenance ability is required as well as a HR license. Working in a team of 4 with accommodation and vehicle available.
About the role:
- Conduct daily feedlot operations for 3,000 cattle (feeding, processing);
- Assist with cropping;
- Case and John Deere machinery;
- Working in a team of 4.
About you:
- Farming and agriculture background / experience;
- Broadacre machinery knowledge / skills;
- Livestock skills - cattle;
- Mechanically minded - basic skills;
- Excellent communication and listening skills;
- Use own initiative and can work well within a team;
- HR license minimum;
- Non Smoker.
What’s on offer:
- Salary: $35.00 per hour (dependent on experience);
- Hours: 10 hours per day, 5 days per week, working every 2nd weekend (half days);
- Additional hours available;
- Accommodation: 3x1 house located 20kms from property (including utilities) or donga onsite;
- Work vehicle.
