As our Operations Support Administrator you will perform site coordination duties for our Sarnia refinery Operations group and provide a variety of day to day functions ensuring that the business unit is in compliance in regards to training, standards, policies, procedures and governing documentation. This position works to support / sustain our Learning management system and ensure that employees are receiving, completing and granted their required training courses. As an Operations support administrator, you will help report on the departments budget expenses, inventory and order supplies, as well as support our site initiatives and events.
Minimum requirements
- Strong administrative skills including advanced computer skills in MS Word, spreadsheet, graphics & database software
- High school or GED
- Practical knowledge of budgeting, basic data analysis, organizational policies, and procedures
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to prepare, compile and locate specialized documents/reports in accordance with defined procedures
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining accurate employee training records, reporting on required / regulatory training and overdue documents
- Schedule and communicate Instructor lead Training while managing, updating the Learning Management System (LMS) and track training attendance
- Prepare training materials and set up conference room for training sessions
- Provide administrate support for managers and the business, including site activities (Take our kids to work day), site specific new hire orientation, etc.
- Provide training and coaching to other employees regarding the LMS and document control programs at the Sarnia site
- Manage and maintain expense reports
Location and other key details
- You will work out of our Sarnia refinery in Ontario, located at 1900 St. Clair Parkway
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
