Summer Camp Leader

Our staff is what truly makes Westmount Golf & Country Club a premier private club. All our staff provide exemplary service for our members and their guests. In order to be a premier private club, we require skilled and motivated staff.

We are currently seeking highly motivated, full-time *Camp Leaders, *reporting to our Camp Coordinator, to join our team this season! The Camp Leader will be responsible for supervising campers and ensuring safe behaviours throughout daily activities.

General responsibilities include:

• Supervise campers and ensure safe behaviours.
• Model good sportsmanship through enthusiastic participation and support.
• Help plan and implement daily activities.
• Create a positive rapport with all campers, parents and other staff members.
• Maintain open lines of communication and work in a cooperative manner with other staff members and program leaders.
• Be aware of camper dietary/medical needs.
• Keep accurate records of incident reports and report immediately to Camp Coordinator.

Qualifications:

• Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Reference Check.
• Experience and/or interest in working with children and youth in a camp setting.
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Available to work some weekend and evenings.
• Skills and knowledge of tennis and golf would be an asset.
