La Taqueria was born in 2009, through the idea of creating a taco stand, which resembles the taste and feel of street tacos around Mexico. These tacos are usually the best, a real Mexican tradition.
We make our tacos from traditional recipes with local, organic and sustainable products, when possible. Our menu offers different types of fillings which can be served as a Taco (soft tortilla, made locally & homemade style) or as a Quesadilla. and Burritos. We also carry some rotating items.
We are looking for 2 Full time and 2 Part Time positions

2 years of serving experience
Able to work under pressure

Knowledge of Spanish an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and farewell to all customers
Take orders and make recommendations
Performs quality assurance with our guests on a regular basis
Sanitize the tables and seats; ensure that empty tables are ready to receive new guests
Sweep/broom the surrounding floors when necessary. Empty trash containers including bathrooms
Maintain all stations well stocked(water, napkins, cutlery, glassware, china, bathrooms, etc)
Deliver food and drinks to our guests.
Assist the dish pit when needed; wash dirty dishes, glasses, and appliances used by FOH
Set up the opening and closing of the restaurant.
Please note these responsibilities are not limited to the above listed and you might not be stationary to a specific section at all times. There will be moments when you will be assigned to a different section or role depending on the restaurant flow.
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced English
Serving Experience(2 years minimum)
Basic iOS knowledge
Serving It Right Certificate
Legally entitled to work in Canada

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
