Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a Furniture Designer to play the following roles...
- Creating sketches and drawings of new designs using software such as AutoCAD or Photoshop
- Designs furniture for manufacture, according to the knowledge of design trends
- Developing a thorough understanding of current trends in style so new designs will be desirable to consumers
- Using various tools to complete projects from raw materials to finished furniture items
- Liaising with craftsmen or production department staff.
- Finding ways to improve furniture items already manufactured.
Requirements:
- BA in Applied Arts or Fine Arts or related or equivalent.
- 1 - 2 Years of experience in the same field.
- Excellent in AutoCAD, 3D max, Sketch up, and Photoshop.
- Innovation & creativity skills.
- Strong visual awareness and an eye for detail.
