Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented *Health, Safety, Security & Environmental Lead *to join our team! In this role you will get to represent the Program in all safety matters pertaining to internal and external activities.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assists the Director Safety/Quality Assurance in the establishment and management of the job safety program.
- Performs safety functions within the scope of the job safety program and within the limits of his capability.
- Performs accidents record analysis, and issues reports on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Monitors the safety performance of all employees, or in respect to one or more functions of the job safety program.
- May perform non-safety functions; however, safety duties are given a greater priority than non-safety functions.
- Conducts safety audits through review and analysis of performance of safety records and safety inspections of facilities in compliance with SHARP Management.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelors in Health or Safety related field, or equivalent
- Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Requires knowledge of Federal and state health and safety regulations and reporting procedures, as well as strong written and oral communication skills.
- NEBOSH certification will be a plus
