Where in the world of OVO will I be working?

The role will provide on site support with continuous monitoring, to ensure that safe working practices are adhered to throughout our supply chain, always sharing standard process and findings. In addition to supporting the Project Manager in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within budget and to the highest SHE standards, Quality standards and our contractual commitments and compliance requirements are met in full.

The role will involve contractor and customer facing dialogue supporting all parts of the business in demonstrating sound technical understanding of solutions offered and provided. Promote outstanding service delivery throughout the supply chain and develop/maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues and customers alike.

What will I be doing?

The role will include, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of Energy Efficiency renewables and insulation measures to support on site auditing of PC processes during installation.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to the highest SHE standards, compliant with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. An understanding of Construction Design Management.
  • Keep up to date with all relevant regulations and obligation in order to inform and maintain compliance (Electrical, Gas Regulations, Building Regulations, PAS)
  • Submit accurate/timely project status reports on the agreed suite of reporting templates
  • Understand and react to compliance. Ensure PAS2030 and/or MCS compliance on allocated projects and undertake stage installer partner audits
  • Manage site issues and any customer complaints within agreed SLAs or internal KPIs
  • Comply with the core processes that are in place covering the works being undertaken
  • Share good practice within Energy Solutions and promote an innovative approach
  • Demonstrate a willingness to travel/switch between schemes which could involve significant travel & overnight stays

Business Knowledge

  • Technical knowledge of Domestic Fabric insulation and/or Renewable energy measures
  • A strong Health and safety ethos, and understanding of CDM
  • A good understanding of your team's area(s) of responsibility and how they contribute towards the ES goals, contributing to OVO's plan Zero.

  • Approved installer course of External wall insulation of a Renewable technology
  • Site Supervisor Safety - SSSTS
  • Construction Skills Certificate Scheme - CSCS
  • Computer literate
  • Full clean driving licence is essential as travel within the south of England will form part of the role

  • Manage any site issues, including customer complaints that arise with the clients SLAs or internal KPIs
