Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. New Vehicle Check-in
  2. coordinate check in with driver
  3. park and organize vehicles accordingly
  4. check vehicles for damage, if damaged, report damage to a manager
  5. collect books, PDI sheets, cables, and kilometers
  6. hand in to Sales Administrators

  7. Lot maintenance

  8. Retrieve keys for appropriate vehicles and relocate to a more appropriate space.
  9. Maintain the cleanliness and order of all inventory.
  10. Ensure inventory on hand is fueled with a minimum of 1/4 of a tank of fuel.
  11. Winter months -- clean lot cars regularly after each snowfall.
  12. Engine Recharge: Routinely start new/used inventory to ensure vehicle starts when needed to be shown (important in winter months).

  13. Showroom detail

  14. Coordinate and work closely with Sales Manager
  15. Collect vehicle(s) required.
  16. Remove protective cardboard and plastic from vehicle.
  17. Clean engine bay and rims, vacuum.
  18. Run through wash or hand wash if necessary.
  19. Blow excess water out of corners, rims and tires. Chamois exterior.
  20. Shine tires, wipe rims.
  21. Shine and wipe interior, clean front and rear window.
  22. Roll windows down and open sunroof, inspect vehicle.
  23. Coordinate showroom entry with Sales Manager.

  24. Perform Other Duties as Assigned

  25. Drive, park and return customer vehicles from point of arrival to designated area and to point of departure in a manner consistent with Grand Touring standards and regulations.
  26. To achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction by providing quality service and maintaining performance standards.
  27. To resolve guest complaints, compliments, and suggestions in a professional manner.
  28. To handle guest vehicles in such a manner that the guest will always find it as it was left (radio, seat, etc.).
  29. Oversee vehicle cleanliness.
  30. To document any damage on in-coming vehicles.
  31. To complete all documentation required.
  32. To keep vehicle keys secure.
  33. Ensure safety of customer and customer belongings.
  34. To maintain a clean ground as necessary outside the front door.
  35. Demonstrate a high level of integrity.
  36. To report for duty with a professional appearance and dress to standards.
  37. Perform other duties as required.

Qualification:

  • Valid G Class Driver’s license
  • Minimum of ten years of driving experience
  • Able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Possess a clean driving record
  • Good judgement
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Driving: 10 years (preferred)
  • Manual Driving: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Full G Driver's License (required)
