Production Manager

We currently looking for a full-time permanent Production Manager.

What your day to day looks like:

• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by ensuring regulatory and company standards and practices are adhered to.
• Works closely with planning on our production schedule, to ensure orders are completed on a timely manner.
• Plans, organize and directs day-to-day operations to meet the company’s expectations for safety, productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment and exceeding our customers’ expectations.
• Leads continuous process and systems improvements for future production efforts.
• Formulates and implement manufacturing policies and programs to maintain and improve the competitive position and profitability of the operation.
• Works with the Director of Planning and Production to develop performance plans and objectives that align with the strategic objectives and plan of the company.
• Works closely with the Director of Planning and Production and Process Engineer in change initiatives from efficiency identification to project delivery via internal governance and controls; empowers the team appropriately in the execution of change initiatives.

What you bring to us:

• 5+ years in a leadership role in a GMP regulated Manufacturing environment within the Natural Health Product, Pharmaceutical or Food industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, engineering, or relevant field.
• Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Reliable, motivated, organized and be able to work in a dynamic fast-paced team-driven environment.
• Passion for continuous improvement, efficiency, and teamwork.
• Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity.
• Excellent time management to establish and handle priorities.
• Excellent communication skills; both oral and written.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and computer skills (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines.
• Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using; SAP experience will be considered an asset.
