Leadership Responsibilities:
- Needs to work closely, influence and build relationships with key collaborators inside Diageo (Sales, MKT, Innovation, Reserve, Finance), with customers and external agencies.- This role supports with the orchestration of the execution commercial & activity plans, tailor the delivery to our partners / customers and give the sales teams the tools to implement it.- Ability to recommend changes and interventions to ensure promotions and activation plans are achieved On Time in Full in an efficient and effective way.- Develop pragmatic solutions that overcome operational barriers at the POS/sales based on insights and knowledge of channel dynamics.

Purpose of Role:
- The CP&A Specialist supports the Commercial Manager on the execution of the activation calendar and commercial plan, ensuring its completion within the Cycle Planning and Briefing process and supports evaluation/learning back into the wider business.- Develop knowledge of WHS channel and customers to build a strategic plan according to their needs.- The CP&A Specialist works with the CP&A Manager in delivering Field Sales, Account Management and Distributors Teams the needed tools and support materials to drive brilliant execution within the channel/customers, and in setting channel specific brand and category execution guidelines and standards. The role also supervises and evaluates channel in-store execution against well-defined scorecard metrics, ensuring we deliver on time every time to our customers.

Top 3-5 Accountabilities:
- Supports in planning and implementing the commercial/activity calendar ensuring we have effective promotions and a winning mix of brand & category activity to drive business performance within customers/channel and that all deliverables are OTIF.- Deep understanding of our customers to make strategic plans according to each sales channel / portfolio / region.- Supports on leading a ground-breaking change focused on delivering flawless planning and execution through an effective cycle planning & briefing process.- Supervise and track in order to ensure total A&P and trade investments budgets are met according to plans in conjunction with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, and Innovation teams.- Deep understanding and responsible for Measurement and Evaluation (Pre & Post) to target the right investment and increase the Return of investment whilst delivering for our consumers, shoppers, and customers.
