Doing D2C is a differentiated business model vs. the traditional B2B model at Diageo. In order to deliver our D2C ambition, we must have the right end-to-end operating models that allows us to provide great consumer experiences and capture the business value. These operating models need to include all the different parts of the value chain: marketing, commercial, fulfilment, route to market, customer service, etc.

To deliver on our vision, we are looking for exceptional Global Head of D2C Operations. In this role, you will define and roll-out to markets different operating models that we can use for our D2C businesses. You will work with all the relevant functional teams to create the right operations and processes, and then work with the markets to deploy them.

Key responsibilities- Manage and optimize end-to-end D2C operations, incl. marketing, commercial, ‘route to market’ (fulfilment, delivery), customer service and reporting.- Work cross-functionally with relevant teams (e.g., marketing, commercial, supply, D&T, Finance, GBO, etc.) to ensure alignment and right representation to create the right capabilities and processes- Develop and implement performance metrics to track and evaluate D2C operations, identify areas for improvement, and drive efficiencies.- Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of capabilities required for the defined operating models.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve D2C operations.

Key qualifications- Significant (8y+) D2C operations or retail operations experience.- Strong executional bias, with a test & learn mentality.- Strong ability to deal with ambiguity, handles vision and purpose, knows how to lead prioritisation and decision-making process based on insights.- Successful management of decision makers at all levels, resulting in strong and positive outcomes- Strong ability to influence, collaborate, achieve through and with others.- Deep personal accountability for great performance
