The Role
Responsible for the implementation, assessment, and review occupational, health and safety plan in the workplace through management and staff involvement. Responsibilities - Conduct daily toolbox meetings - Ensure all employees wear required personal protective equipment - Ensure availability of PPE - Ensure availability of safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire hose, safety lights, wall posters, floor markings etc. - Keep track of all incidents in daily register - Keep track of trainings delivered on daily basis - Conduct regular day to day rounds of the facility to highlight and eliminate risks and hazards - Provide guidance to employees on daily basis regarding prevention of risks and hazards - Assist managers in implementation of new strategies - Maintain a record of trainings conducted on daily basis - Generate required reports and collect data on daily basis to facilitate the OHS manager in strategic development - Foster and develop an OHS Culture across the organization - Conduct routine inspection of all safety equipment - Keep notice boards updated of new announcements, meeting times, training schedules etc. - Assist with the preparation and provision of health and safety reports and communication materials.
Requirements:
Qualifications - Fresh Graduate with Diploma or bachelor's degree. - Has a degree in any field with basic Safety training. - Speaking English. - Using a computer. - Writing a report. - Oil and gas industry experiences.
