Minimum 12 to 15 years similar experience with MEP contractors in the Middle East preferably in Qatar.
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering:
- Familiar with all procurement activities and provisions required by MEP Construction Company.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding about MEP Equipment and materials such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, pumps, pipes, valves, ducting accessories, plumbing & drainage materials, firefighting equipment and BMS system.
- Study the project scope of works, clients' requirement, BOQ, project mile to procure equipment, materials & systems complying to project Quality and Specification requirements.
- To procure MEP materials and subcontract in timely manner within approved budgeted cost.
- To ensure timely delivery of equipment, material & systems to support site installation works as per approved work program
- Prepare documentation for internal process as per company Standards.
- Develop and maintain good relationship with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
